-Upon booking, you realize the nature of BlockhouseLife itself is reducing our footprint and embracing small living spaces. These spaces may not be disability access friendly and may cause some minor inconveniences such as storage, extra space, etc. 

-Additional fees for lost, stolen, or damaged amenities and property will be charged to guest. 

-No parties. Each additional person over the occupancy limit (2) found at the property will result in an additional $45 charge per person.

-The unit is equipped with noise monitoring software. If noise levels are above 80 db for more than 5 minutes, a $25 fee may be charged

-Treat the space as if it was your own home. If you break it, fix it. If you open it, close it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you unlock it, lock it. If you make a mess, clean it. If you move it, put it back.

-Surveillance or recording devices onsite, but never in any interior spaces. This ensures safety and privacy for our guests and our property. 

- Washing the dishes, taking out the trash, and tidying up makes our job much easier and is greatly appreciated!

-Fake Tan= BYOSheets 

-If evidence of smoking is found, a $200 smoking fee will be applied for each booking day.

-$25 late check out fee charged for every half hour past check-out time.

-Any evidence of tampering with surveillance or monitoring systems will result in the termination of your booking with no refund, and a $250 fine. 

-Locals must contact us before booking.

-This is a self check-in property. You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions you're being provided by your booking platform through either a house manual or the check-in guide. You also agree you will NOT contact your host before reading your house manual.

-You are responsible for insuring your personal items and those of any occupants and people you invite to your Blockhouse Unit. You agree to be held liable for damage to your unit and its contents that occurs during your stay, excluding normal wear and tear. If your actions or the actions of your party cause the unit to become uninhabitable, you agree to pay the cost to repair and the posted nightly rate until the rental unit becomes habitable again.

-A confirmed booking does not give you rights as a tenant, and Blockhouse Life retains the right to control, manage, and possess the rental unit. You do not have the right to exclude Blockhouse Life from the rental unit, and, at the expiration of this Agreement, Blockhouse Life has the right to remove anyone in the rental unit as trespassers.

-If subsequent guests, with reservations booked through any booking platform, are unable to use the property due to any action by you or other associated guests which includes but is not limited to; lost keys/items, damaged furniture, accessibility issues, smoking, lead times for replacement items or violation of house rules, you are financially responsible for the lost revenue (base daily rate with no discounts associated for however many days that guests are unable to stay at our property) or compensation afforded to them by us for the inconvenience. 

-You agree that you are booking in goodwill and you will not attempt to damage the property because you are dissatisfied with any rulings made by BlockhouseLife, the host, or the housekeeping team in the event that a violation of the host's rules occurs.
